The starting point of the hike is the village square in Praelo.
Climb the stairs to the right (figs. 1, 2, 3) and turn left on the provincial road into the road leading to Canneto soprano (fig. 4). In Canneto soprano, turn right (figs. 5, 6) and climb up the steep road. Leave the village and continue along the mule track that winds uphill. You come to a path, turn right (fig. 7) and follow the path uphill, which soon turns into a narrow, stony path (fig. 8). Turn left (fig. 9), cross an olive grove and soon come to a path (fig. 10), turn right and follow this path uphill (fig. 10).

After a few hundred metres you come to the provincial road, which you follow downhill to Pantasina (fig. 11). At the church square in Pantasina, turn left (fig. 12), go past the grocery shop and follow the road to Pianavia (fig. 13). There, at the beginning of the village, take a sharp left turn to the right and follow the road downhill to Prelà Castello (fig. 14). After a short distance you pass the cemetery on the right of the road and at the end of the cemetery wall turn right onto a narrow path (fig. 15). Follow the path downhill (fig. 16, 17).

A few steps take you back to the road that leads into the village. Cross the village and take a path downhill to the right of the church (Fig. 18, 19). After a short distance, turn right onto a narrow path (Fig. 20), which in part leads very steeply down into the valley to some houses (Fig. 21). Follow the path, which curves slightly uphill and joins the provincial road (fig. 22). Turn right uphill and after a few metres turn left (fig. 23).

The steps turn into a narrow path that you follow uphill. The path soon joins the provincial road (Fig. 24), which you follow uphill. You will reach the village of Casa Carli. Turn left onto a small road leading uphill into the village (fig. 25), cross the village (figs. 26, 27, 28), turn left at the square (fig. 29), after a few metres turn left onto a narrow path that leads to Praelo (figs. 30, 31, 32, 33, 34).
