The starting point of the hike is the square in front of the town hall (Piazza Doria) in Dolcedo (Fig. 1 ).
Walk under the town hall, pass the gate, cross the square in front of the church of San Tomasso, climb the steps and turn right (Fig. 2). Follow the narrow alleyway along the stream (fig. 3) with a view of Ripalta (fig. 6), past an old bridge (fig. 6). Look back at the back of the church of San Tomasso (fig. 5). After a short time (approx. 3 - 4 min) and a steady, moderate ascent, you reach a fork in the path (fig. 7). Keep to the right (arrow in Fig. 7) and continue uphill until you reach another fork in the path after approx. 7 - 10 minutes (Fig. 8).

Keep right again here. You will see the San Bartolomeo chapel on your left (Fig. 9). At the next fork in the path (Fig. 10) after approx. 3 to 4 minutes, keep right and follow the path straight ahead, which is marked with a red and white sign (Fig. 11). At the next fork in the path (Fig. 12) after approx. 14 to 20 minutes, keep left. Finally, after approx. 7 to 10 minutes, you will reach a paved road (Fig. 13) and follow this uphill past a wayside shrine. After approx. 10 to 15 minutes you will reach Lecchiore (fig. 14, 15). Go uphill to the left and turn right in the car park at the church, turn sharp right and steeply uphill at the side of the church (Fig. 16).

Follow the above-mentioned markings (fig. A) uphill through the narrow lanes. Leave Lecchiore and follow the markings through olive groves to Bellissimi (figs. 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28). The path ends on the forecourt of Bellissimi church.

Climb up the road (figs. 29, 30, 31, 32) until you reach the provincial road that leads to Santa Brigida. Turn left (fig. 33) and follow the road downhill to Trincheri and on to Bellissimi. In Bellissimi, pass the church and turn right (fig. 34) and follow the narrow road that soon turns into a mule track downhill. After a few hundred metres, you will come to a road that leads to Boeri. Turn left (fig. 35) and follow the road downhill and straight ahead (fig. 36). After a short stretch past some houses, the road curves steeply downhill and joins the road leading up from Dolcedo. Turn right and follow the road downhill to Dolcedo.
