The starting point of the walk is the square in front of the town hall (Piazza Doria) in Dolcedo (Fig. 1 ).
Walk under the town hall, pass the gate, cross the square in front of the church of San Tomasso, climb the stairs and turn right (fig. 2). Follow the narrow lane along the stream (fig. 3) with a view of Ripalta (fig. 6), past an old bridge (fig. 6). Look back at the back of the church of San Tomasso (fig. 5). After a short time (approx. 3 - 4 min) and a steady, moderate ascent, you will reach a fork in the path (fig. 7). At the fork in the road, keep left (fig. 8) and follow the road uphill to Boeri (fig. 9).

After a short distance, turn right onto a mule track (fig. 10) that leads uphill to Bellissimi. From the church square in Bellissimi, follow the road uphill (fig. 11) and after a short distance turn left (fig. 12). At the next fork in the road, keep left (fig. 13) and after a few metres you will reach the provincial road again (fig. 14), which leads to Trincheri. Follow the road and after about 400 metres turn right onto a path (fig. 15), which leads uphill and after a few metres back onto the road. Keep right and after a few metres turn left onto a path (Fig. 16). Walk uphill and you will reach Trincheri (fig. 17). Continue uphill along the narrow road through Trincheri. After a short distance you will reach a small church (fig. 18).

Pass the church and follow the path further uphill (Fig. 19) until you reach the provincial road after approx. 700 metres (Fig. 20). Follow the road uphill to the left. At the crossroads after a few metres you will see the church of Santa Brigida on the right (fig. 21). Turn left and after about 500 metres turn left (fig. 22). Follow the road downhill and after approx. 600 metres turn right onto a gravel road (fig. 23). At the next road junction after approx. 220 m, continue straight ahead (Fig. 24). After a further 300 metres, turn sharp left (Fig. 25) and you will reach Costa Canara. There, behind a passageway, turn sharp left (fig. 26), descend the narrow road and rejoin the provincial road (fig. 27). Follow the road uphill to the left. After about 400 metres, turn right (Fig. 28) and follow the road downhill through Castellazzo to Dolcedo.
