Circular route Pantasina 3

The starting point of the hike is the church square in Pantasina.

Take Via Santuario (arrow in Fig. 1) for about 150 metres past the Azienda agricola Pino. After a few metres, turn right into a small side street (arrow in Fig. 2). After about 30 metres, the small road turns into a mule track. Follow the path, which climbs steeply in places, keep right at a junction (Fig. 4) and continue climbing until you reach the provincial road again (Fig. 5). Cross the provincial road. After a few metres uphill, the mule track branches off to the left. Follow the path uphill to the ridge. Keep right at the fork (Fig. 6). It will take you about 15 to 25 minutes to reach this point. Now follow the path uphill. After another 10 to 20 minutes through the forest, you will reach an open, stony slope from where you have a beautiful view of Pantasina  have. Cross the open space and follow the path uphill through the forest. After another 10 - 15 minutes you will come to a fork. Take the path straight ahead (Fig. 7). You will reach a saddle from which you have a marvellous view of Tavole and Villatalla in Val Prino. Monte Faudo rises up in the background. After approx. 5 - 10 minutes you will come to a gravel road (fig. 8, 9), where you turn right. Follow the road downhill until you reach the provincial road again (Fig. 10). Keep to the right (downhill). After a few hundred metres, past a building on the right-hand side of the road, you will pass the former fairground of Pantasina (Cianzerbo) on the left-hand side. At the end of the square, a path branches off from the road to the left, marked by a sign (Pantasina) (fig. 11 ). After a few metres, the path turns right into the forest (fig. 12). Follow the partly very stony path downhill. After a few hundred metres, you will have a wonderful view of Pantasina on your right. After several hundred metres you will come to a small road (fig. 13), which you follow to the right to the first houses of Pantasina. Walk down the tarmac road until you reach the main road. Turn right (fig. 14). After a few metres you will reach the church square of Pantasina.
